Educational Opportunities
We offer educational opportunities for nursing students, medical students, residents, and surgeons from Haiti and abroad.
MEDICAL STUDENTS
HAH is one the the global campus venues for Loma Linda University School of Medicine. This provides accredited rotations for medical students and residents in various specialties as well as other allied health professions. Dr. Scott Nelson (orthopaedic surgery) and Dr. Jeffrey Cho (family practice and preventive medicine) are US board certified in their respective specialties and enable HAH to provide ACGME accredited rotations.
PHYSICIANS-IN-TRAINING
We provide resident and fellowship level training for those interested in international orthopaedics and advanced limb lengthening and reconstructive surgery.
ATTENDINGS
In addition to our local and foreign full time staff, we host a number of renowned visiting professors. This fosters a rich academic environment and provides a level of care often only available in the best of academic centers.
